dll with LIBS += $$PWD/oidn/bin/OpenImageDenoise.dll, but it still didn't work. I added the library the same way, but whenever I run the test project, I get this popup: I also tried making a completely new project and adding OIDN to that, but I ran into a separate issue there. Including even one line, such as the first line oidn::DeviceRef device = oidn::newDevice(), causes the program to crash. I found that commenting out all lines related to denoising (other than the include statement) allowed the program to run as normal. But when I tried the examples on the OIDN page, my project would crash immediately upon opening, going to the black console screen with Press to close this window. With these, I was able to include the header with #include, and the project was able to build. pro file: win32: LIBS += -L$$PWD/oidn/lib/ -lOpenImageDenoise lib file through the GUI for adding external libraries. I downloaded the Windows precompiled binaries from the downloads page and placed them in my project directory, then I added the. To achieve the same quality as with Intel’s denoiser I had to render a test scene with default 35 samples which took me to render in 3:46min on my hardware set-up, which is more than the double-time.I'm trying to use Intel Open Image Denoise in a raytracer project, but I can't seem to link it properly. Test render with 20 samples took on my machine 1 minute and 15 seconds. Connect all nodes as shown in the picture below and hit F12 to render. Now let’s jump to Compositing tab and search for (Shift + A) Denoise node. Go to View Layer Properties > Passes and check Denoising DataĢ. But first, we need to let the denoiser data to be accessible from nodes. To set up Intel’s denoiser you’d need to use nodes in Compositing tab. I am using dual CPU old HPZ600 Workstation with 32GB of RAM and gamer GPU GTX1060.ġ. I have found that 32 for X and Y is the most optimal with my hardware setup. I also recommend to use lower values for Render Properties > Pefromance > Tiles.
